Even though its name suggests one thing, Light Image Resizer is actually feature-rich and comes with many useful output settings.
Light Image Resizer works with a wide variety of image formats, supports batch processing, and comes with easy-to-configure output settings. Furthermore, it provides you with multiple resizing profiles, visual effects, options to rotate the input image at any angle you like, and so much more. I also like the fact that you can preview the resized images before changing their resolution.
After you select the preferred output options, click the "Process" button from the bottom side of the interface and the program will take care of the rest.
In my testing, I resized two pictures having different resolutions and extensions. The application immediately generated the resized photos and preserved the quality of the original images.
Still, you can find cheaper solutions for resizing pictures on your computer. There are plenty of applications that provide you with almost identical features and are cheaper or even free to use for an unlimited amount of time.

This is a pretty lightweight image resizer with some basic functions. There's another image resizer which adjust image to a pre-defined size.
